The Beni Ouarain is the most precious Moroccan rug and renowned for its soft touch and iconic ivory/cream colour. This one is slightly different in the fact that it is reversed with a black background and white geometric pattern, which will look fab in a bohemian bedroom.

The Beni ourain rug origins come from a small tribe in the Middle Atlas Mountain in the region of Taza. The Beni Ourain tribe are known for the good quality of the sheep, so you know that these rugs are made from the best quality of natural wool shorn from their own herds.

The main characteristic of a Beni Ouarain rug is the “shaggy” pile. This makes them very comfortable underfoot but they do now vary in density and thickness, they display sophisticated geometric lines that will suit all types of home interiors!

Beni Ouarain rugs are entirely hand-knotted, following the Berber tradition.
